International protection for refugees at heart of training workshop
A training workshop on international protection for refugees and asylum seekers in Tunisia will be organised on July 19-20 by the Arab Institute for Human Rights.
The event, geared towards representatives of NGOs active in areas of human rights, migration and asylum, is held in collaboration with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Tunis.
It seeks to build knowledge about the rights of refugees and asylum seekers and shed further light on concepts in relation to the international protection for refugees.
Twenty participants from Tunis and northern as well as southern regions are expected.
The International protection for mixed migration and asylum-related issues will also be at the heart of a training session targeting lawyers; the event is scheduled on July 26-27.
